Fred Linedecker

Apr. 3, 1950 – Jan. 3, 2010

Mr. Fred A. Linedecker, of Pittsboro, died Sunday, Jan. 3, 2010. 
Mr. Linedecker was born in Lafayette, the son of Albert Linedecker of Lebanon and the late Patsy Dykes of Lafayette. He attended Lebanon High School and served in the U.S. Army. 
He married Dee Linedecker on June 7, 1975; she survives. 
Mr. Linedecker worked for Roadway Express and retired in 2008. 
He attended Mt. Tabor Primitive Baptist Church for over 34 years. 
Survivors include his wife; daughter, Shannon (Richie) Wallace of Marshall; son, Paul Shoemaker of Pittsboro; the two greatest joys of his life, his grandchildren, Cody and Carlie; father, Albert (stepmother Doris) Linedecker of Lebanon; sister, Pam (Bill) Lippert of Camp Hill, Pa.; brother, Mark (Kathy) Dykes of Eaton, Ohio; brother-in-law, Donald Flick of Pittsboro; one nephew, Dennis Gilmore of Mechanicsburg, Pa.; three nieces, Denise Miller and Doniel Kolm, both of Lebanon, and Brittany Dykes of Florida; two stepbrothers, Darrell Beasey of Indianapolis and Mark Beasey of Lebanon; one stepsister, Roberta Gidman of Lebanon. 
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, at Matthews Mortuary, 690 E. 56th St., Brownsburg. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, at the mortuary. Burial will be at Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Fayette. 
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans.
