There were some of us in Las Vegas who asked what are we going to do for the 50 year reunion and the idea struck me that since most of us are getting older and slower, and we want to get more of the class involved, that instead of a two or three day event make it a week. Now I know most have too much to do to spend the whole week with a bunch of people we have not seen much of since school, but if we could plan a series of projects to give back to the community that raised us, and which so many live yet today, we could work and visit at the same time, while giving back to the town and community and then have a dinner to enjoy what we had done. Ideas for the projects could be as simple as picking up trash, planting flowers or trees, visiting a nursing home/hospital or help building structure for the town. I think that if we all worked together we could come up with enough different stuff to make it a fun and entertaining weeklong vacation during the summer of 2018. Think about it, doing something now and showing other classes in the future that working together we all can make a difference.

As a bonus we might even find more classmates. Maybe we could do something for the 4th of July parade. I look forward to what ever it is. |
